Father Mouse

Raphael and Fletcher are learning to retell a story in sequence.

They worked hard creating this book based on the story Brave Father Mouse.  They set up and took all the photo's them selves, had a go at writing the story themselves then dictated more text for me to key in.

Didn't they do a fantastic job!

Be Careful

Check out the Heart Suns work… This is their response to the text Be Careful.

They worked together to set up and take photos to retell the story. Their sequencing of the story is spot on.
The group went ahead and recorded a narration for each page independently before keying in some text. Unfortunately this app does not show things added after a recording, so it did not show in the final clip
(that is just how the app they used works).
Interesting,  Their narration shows some insights into learning to work collaboratively with friends.

Oliver and Sergio

Scruffys Puzzle

Sergio and Oliver have worked very well at this, They build many of their own props for the and inserted them into a new page using an app.  They keyed in the title by themselves and the first few pages before dictating the final few.
Didnt they do well

Fire Engine Helps Cat

Fire Engine Helps Cat
Photos, text and voice by Fred and Daniel

Fred and Daniel have been at it again.  This time they were super speedy at setting their seen and moving the characters to retell the story, The Toytown Fire Engine with their photos.  They keyed in their first page of text independently before needing a little more support.  What a fantastic retell of the story      Check out their creation.

Bugs Race

This is a variation on the story Sams Race, a book the children read.  Special thanks goes to Oliver who helped Daniel set up and take the photos within a particular application to create the story.
Fred came on board to tell the story with Daniel.  They had a go at keying in the text themselves before dictating it to me.  Next time they will have a go at working the app more themselves.
The story is a fantastic adaption of the human version using different words to the original text.  Well done boys.
Great collaborative effort!
