Our Dairy Farm Trip

Our  Dairy Farm Trip

We are going to the farm on a ‘go’ bus.

 This is the milking shed.

Here are the suction cups.
They suck milk out of the cows.

The suction cup is squeezing
and sucking Asher's finger.

This cow's udder is full of milk.
She pooed on the other cow.

They are getting milk out of the cow.

The tanker is taking the milk away
to the milk factory.

The milk is coming out of this vat.

“I am looking at Oscar and Asher.”

The tractor is putting maze in the trough.

The  cows  are going to the paddock.

Water is washing the poos and wees
to the effluent pond.

Farmer Dave is showing us worms from the ground.
Here are the calves.

The Calves drink milk from this milking station.  40 calves can drink from it at the same time.

One  cow  makes 12 bottles of milk each day.

We are going back to school on the go bus.
We had fun on our dairy farm trip.

it's great that the kids now know where all their milk and yogurt comes from. From the pictures we can see they really enjoyed the trip.
Thanks Mrs Fong for updating this!
